Final of the Tudor Edwards was played on the 21st January in gale force winds , the joy of winter golf !
Kristian and Bobby Godfrey playing against Martin Biddle and Richard Hawken, the Godfrey’s receiving 2 strokes.
The first 9 holes were a little scrappy in difficult conditions with Martin and Richard one ahead at the turn .
The Godfrey’s made a nett 4 on the 10th match all square.
The next two holes were exchanged with winning pars all square on the 13th tee.
All the remaining holes playing into 40-45 mph wind, Martin and Richard made 4 pars in the next 5 holes which enabled them to win the match 2/1.
